I am making a lot of lip sticks, and I need your help!
I love the all natural, mostly organic and almost vegan, with none of the crap that cheap chapsticks use. So I am making my own but I don't know what flavors to make!
ABOUT THE BEEWAX:
A few people have mentioned that beeswax isn't vegan; that's true, but it's about as true as vegetarianism meaning eating fish and chicken (yeah, I know it isn't!). I have a feeling that at least half of the attackers are not actually vegan and are just picking a fight. I myself believe in the foundation of ethical and moral treatment of animals before anything else, including eating them. I eat honey and chicken but only because I know where they come from and how they were treated, which is very honestly, great!
When I visited the farm where I get my wax and honey from, (and the owners very courteous and hid nothing.) I got to visit the bees and help harvest some honey. The keepers love their bees and, I believe all animals can love, and I believe that their bees loved them back.
They don't use any pesticides or unnatural fertilizer on their plants, which is why it's organic.
I stand by my bee wax because it comes from the fattest, happiest bees I have ever met, and because of that, smells wonderful and feels good on my skin.
Also, some of my soaps have goat milk in them. I've noticed that melt and pour goats milk is available, but I went to my friends' house and her goat, Jemjam (or rather, Jam now that my friend is older since she has had Jam since she was 4), is the one who gave me milk to use and my friend who helped me make the soap. Jamjam lives both inside and outside of the house and she only eats organic foods which is why the soap smells so good! ^_____^

Organic, fair trade, unprocessed and unrefined shea butter,
Organic, local, ethical, fresh (Pacific Northwest) beeswax,
Natural (and usually organic) essential oils,
Maybe high quality fragrance oils if the flavor can't be made with essential oils.
Let me know what flavor you love the most (hey, you can give me more than one suggestion) and
I might send you a free sample of the lip gloss (ya know, for testing!) if I like your suggestion enough to make it!
